Our Story
Ital Leather Source was founded in 1986 in the heart of the leather industry of Arzignano.
Ital Leather Source was founded in 1986 in Arzignano by Giulio Rancan, a leather finishing chemist with a strong technical background and a deep passion for quality. Alongside his wife Tammy, he began by exporting Italian leather to Canada, laying the foundation for what would become a trusted international brand.
The company’s global presence expanded rapidly, reaching the United States in the early ’90s and Asia by the mid-1990s, building long-standing relationships with furniture manufacturers worldwide. In 1999, Ital Leather Source established its own R&D laboratory to develop exclusive articles and custom finishes.
Over the years, the company has continued to invest in sustainability, adopting advanced water-based finishing techniques and expanding its production capacity with a second facility opened in 2020.
Today, Ital Leather Source is known for its innovative craftsmanship, personalized service, and unwavering commitment to Italian quality.
